Scottish Girolles at their very best

September 2023

Hello,

After a very dry August we’re expecting to hear what percentage of UK crops, especially potatoes, have failed. As potatoes are 70% water, we’ve been warned by our growers that the outlook isn’t great. We should know more this month once the early crops have been harvested.

Scottish girolles are plentiful and will soon be out of season. Make sure you feature this special little mushroom in your September menus.

We’re praying for a rainy September!

Best,
